Dear President Duterte,

The reason behind this letter is to express my all-out gratitude of your hard work and dedication in making our country as peaceful as possible and away from any harm. Other than that, I would also like to point out things that may need have change or improvement according to the War on Drugs act.

Before everything else, I would like to point out that violence isn’t always the answer to peace. Violence may be a very effective way of ending crimes, drugs or any other type of bad doings, but you are risking a good amount of your people’s lives trying to stop them.

It is said in a survey of 1,200 adults, year 2018, that 96% of all Filipinos in the country believes that it is very important that drug suspects are caught alive and jailed, not being dead. Also, 95% of drug-related violence reported in the country has resulted in fatalities.

This comes into a conclusion, that the War on Drugs act is very dependent on violence and it isn’t a good thing. If I would change one thing, it would be the stop of violence or at least try to lessen the fatalities in doing so.

All in all, I am very pleased and thankful for you being a good president of this country and hope we Filipinos, will still be working with you in the future.

Yours truly,

Grecko Tristan Lictao Rosales,

  1. Very well made. Every word you typed was articulated perfect, and yes, I agree with Duterte being an insufferable donkey donut.
