St. Paul the Apostle: A Festive to Celebrate
Every 25th of January, the Vigan City Festival,
we are all gathered to celebrate and honor our only St. Paul the Apostle. Even
though I don’t live near Vigan City, me and my family always try to join and
participate to the different events partook in the festival. Not only we get to
honor him, but it’ll also strengthen our relationships and bond while having
quality time and making memories together.
A little later in the afternoon, a group of people and different students and pupils from different schools performed street dancing, while a group of bands with lyres and drums playing lively in the background that furthermore gives life and color to the performance.
In the night time, it is where the carnival and trade fair comes to life. The place becomes very bright and moody, with the combination of the cold breeze and an open sky, it is truly a comforting place. You can enjoy different rides, try new things and also overcome your fears. And when you’re tired, you can relax and roam around in the trade fair with delicious foods and drinks to entertain you.
Due to the never-ending spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Vigan Festival had sadly been postponed. With the festival being a crowdy event, it is unlikely for the festival to be the same with the new normal. But with proper respect to the protocols and be fully vaccinated, it can still happen. Even though times right now are very tight, we must always try our best to celebrate the Vigan City Festival and honor St. Paul the Apostle.Sources:

Yes I agree! Even in the pandemic, we should find ways to celebrate tradition, but of course in a safe manner. We should be respectful of the protocols and not be selfish just so we can celebrate.
