Equality Towards Unity

          Time travelling back to a few decades ago, where as technology haven’t really taken its place, and its still at its early stages, females were disregarded and are always looked down upon. They were treated like they can’t stand for themselves, not fitted enough for the job, and seen as they are lacking of strength and determination. In much simple words, they are weak. And I feel like they don’t deserve that, I really think they have lots of potential, and could really keep up on the activities and doings of men does. So that they did, upon a few years later. The society’s vision towards women changed. They finally got a proper place in the society, and met true equality.

          Going back to the present, we can now see a proper society that really respect the capabilities of women have. But we can still sometimes see people still underestimating and looking down at them. And this kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. There are capabilities that can only be found in women, and not all in men. We should really understand that not every attribute is in every man, there are also other ones that are only present in women. Take this to in consideration, women are better at cooking, they are better at household activities, taking care of children, and sometimes even better at decision making. As women are very careful and delicate, while some men tend to rush and just don’t think before they leap. But I’m not saying this because women are more superior, I’m just stating facts that can support the mindset where women can also keep up with men as well.

          In this time of the pandemic, it is really hard to survive and fight the virus without women. Especially in the occupation of nurses and medical assistants, as women tend to have more knowledge and careful with the occupation. They are more responsible with organizing and self-hygiene. They also have the responsibility with the necessary needs like facemasks, alcohols, gloves, and etc.

          There is no such thing as a perfect society, but practicing equality is something we need to focus. Women aren’t more superior than men, and men aren’t more superior than women as well. We need to keep everything in balance, and never underestimate one’s skills. Instead of having two sides, it’s better to unite and help each other. As not all skills and attributes are present in the two genders, coming close and working together will make us as one.
