Strelitzia
Birds have wings. And most of them utilizes it for flight, to soar up high in the blue sky. Now let me ask you a question. What happens when you take away the only unique feature and part of a bird, which is its wings? Can they still fly? In simple answers, no. A bird that’s wingless can no longer have the freedom to fly. It is now forever prohibited of flight, and is imprisoned for the rest of eternity.
Freedom is
something we must fight for. It is something we sacrifice our blood, sweat and
tears for. It is something that is present in the blood of all living
organisms. Without this, we’re just simply a bird, without its capability to
fly.
Despite all of the loses, what’s important is we regained our right to be free in our own country. And not being slaves servicing other bloods. Ever since that very day, we have granted ourselves wings yet again, that have been longingly taken away from us. A treasure we must forever cherish, freedom.
